Primary Care. The clinic provides primary health care services to low-income, uninsured county residents on an appointment basis. Personalized medical care for routine, non-emergency and chronic medical conditions such as hypertension, diabetes, asthma, and heart disease is provided in addition to education and equipment for self-care.
Referrals. More specialized services that cannot be provided onsite are referred to our network of specialty physicians within the region. The Clinic also serves as a health education resource and provides educational materials, screenings and services for local health fairs, nutrition classes, and screenings for chronic conditions for Clackamas County residents.
Clackamas Volunteers in Medicine (VIM) is a new non-profit organization dedicated to maintaining the clinic to provide quality healthcare to the low-income uninsured of Clackamas County. Establishing a culture of caring and engaging a network of community partners and volunteers is crucial to our efforts. Our long-term vision is to increase service hours, expand services, and open similar locations throughout Clackamas County.
Volunteers. We are seeking volunteers of many types, with medical or non-medical skills, to provide continuity and expand our current clinic hours. Join us to help Clackamas County VIM provide medical care with a heart. Sign up today!
