2016 Kaiser Permanente MLK Day of Service

Kaiser Permanente has announced for the second consecutive year that Clackamas Volunteers in Medicine ~ Founders Clinic is the recipient of their “Martin Luther King Day of Service” Grant. This special grant enables The Founders Clinic, to provide care to Clackamas County residents with an extra day of patient care in addition to their normal clinic hours. It is with sincere thanks to Kaiser Permanente, Dr. King Jr. and this generous grant, that CVIM is pleased to announce two special events.

Monday, January 18th from 8:00 am – 4:00 pm

Vision Essentials by Kaiser Permanente is providing free eye exams and glasses Clackamas Kaiser Vision Essentials Clinic located at 12100 SE Stevens Court, Suite 106, Clackamas, OR 97086

Tuesday, January 19th from 8:00 am – 5:00 pm

CVIM and Kaiser Permanente practitioners will treat those in need of non-emergency medical attention at
The Founders Clinic located at 700 Molalla Avenue, Oregon City, OR 97045

Call The Founders Clinic at 503-722-4400 to schedule an appointment for either day.

There will be Interpreters onsite and transportation available to those in outlying areas.

These special services days are part of KP’s community service mission that states:

“MLK Days of Service is a meaningful community service opportunity for our staff. The experience of participating in MLK Days of Services serves as a catalyst to inspire further service throughout the year. It puts our organizations mission— to improve the health and well-being of the communities we serve— into action.”
