Singer Hill Café Fundraiser Friday

Oregon City Rotary Club Foundation Wine Cellar Raffle

Friday the 13th proved lucky for The Founders Clinic. Friends of the clinic gathered to share fine food, enjoy music by Mark Seymour, and celebrate with the winners of the Oregon City Rotary Club Foundation Wine Cellar drawings.

Singer Hill Café featured the clinic, sharing 20% of the restaurant’s earnings from 3 ~ 8 pm while the Rotary held its raffle drawing in the evening.

The Rotary raffle raised over $2,000, assuring the purchase of a defibrillator and spirometer, long at the top of the clinic’s wish list. Our heartfelt thanks to Oregon City Rotary Club. Members sponsored the raffle offering a first prize of of a wine cellar of 50 bottles of wine and a wine fridge valued at $1,300 and 2nd and 3rd prizes of a case of wine each.

Spencer Chang, summer work study intern from Stanford University, was also awarded a Certificate of Appreciation for all he accomplished over the summer. His contributions included developing the clinic’s Medical Scribe Training Program, codifying Operation Policies, and Procedures, and training volunteers on use of the Electronic Health Record system.

Community partnerships and support are vital to the work of the clinic. The clinic could not exist without our neighbors pitching in and helping out.
